DAYWISE ITINERARY

DAY 1 THEKKADY

• Drive to Thekkady, on arrival at Thekkady check into hotel.

• The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978 is one of the world's most fascinating wildlife reserves.

• Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.

DAY 2 SIGHTSEEING THEKADDY

• After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady.

• The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Boating at the Periyar lake is an activity much sought by tourists who visit Thekkady because wild animals can be spotted during the session.

• Jeep safari is a fun optional activity to enjoy if you have an adventurous bone.

• Visit the Spice Plantation in Thekkady, stroll around the captivating farm and discover various spices in different sections of the plantation.

• Most sought Elephant Ride around the wilderness.

• Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.

DAY 3 TRANSFER ALLEPPEY

• After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey.

• Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising, let your eyes settle for the bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants, rustic homes, ancient churches / temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard.

• Overnight stay in the houseboat.

DAY 4 DEPARTURE

• After breakfast check out from the Houseboat and drive back to your home.

• Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockages, political disturbances (strikes), etc. (to be borne by the client, payable directly on the spot).

• Any increase in taxes or fuel prices, leading to an increase in the cost of surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect before departure.

• Check in / Checkout time with the hotels are 12.00 noon and overnight Houseboat (if provided with itinerary) is 12.00 noon check in and 09.00 hrs. next day check out.
